Remember kidz, piracy is bad
This new anti-piracy advert is doing the rounds.
It’s an updated take on an earlier video which features a rapper called DP who warns kids off sharing their music and videos.
YouTube is full of parodies of anti-piracy videos. This legit video is so bizarre that it’s hard to know whether it’s real or fake. Underneath, there are five more anti-piracy videos from around the world.
In Germany, daddy gets into trouble.
The college kids are being frightened off sharing again in this one. And made to feel sorry fot the rights owners.
Messed up Mario - at least this video could strike a chord with the audience: it’s not about getting caught - you pay for your game, you guarantee better quality files.
This is the ubiquitous UK advert that you see in cinemas and on TV. It puts movie downloading on a par with stealing a car.
And finally, Futurama’s take on the issue. You wouldn’t steal a human head would you?
